Today, this tourist site is surrounded by a fortified enclosure of thirteen semicircular towers housing a listed Romanesque church, a tumulus, a Renaissance gateway and numerous buildings. Only one vestige remains of this important stone castle: the Hélène tower. The name obviously refers to Hélène de Fonsèque, Ronsard's muse. This green setting is an irresistible invitation to stroll or play with your children.

Très belle promenade avec le château, l'église et le parc... Propre, calme, on est surpris par la visite. A découvrir si vous passez dans le coin. On y reste un petit moment à visiter et à se ressourcer au calme, à l'abri de la circulation que l'on oubli complètement, même si le parking est devant l'enceinte.
