The residence of Maine Chevalier dates back to the 18th century and its history is recounted in the heritage archives of the Poitou-Charentes region. Its current owners acquired it in 2012 and have carried out a total renovation work in collaboration with specialized craftsmen, with a concern for ecology and respect for heritage: earth and lime coatings, wood fiber insulation, solar panels and wood boiler, water recuperators, recycled furniture... The place has a garden of 3000 m2, six guest rooms with very distinct themes and a table d'hôtes (open by reservation only). The Domaine de l'Estuaire also offers themed stays for families or seminars. It's all Ecolabel certified!

Jättefint ställe att övernatta på, vi hade även med oss våra två hundar som uppskattade promenaden i trädgården och i vingården tvärs över vägen. En mycket bra frukost
