The hotel of the 1950 s is ideally located about metres away from the access to the port of Royan and its pier for the islands (Oléron, Ré), Rustic or Verdon. It is also the place of departure or stopover for a few cruises in the estuary. Another advantage of this beautiful location with sea view in front: just cross the street to access the beach of Foncillon. In its back, the city centre is a five-minute walk away, with to minutes for the market. Inside the hotel, the rooms are modern and colourful, comfortable and classic bedding. Chambre petite mais fonctionnelle avec literie de qualité, fait très bien l'affaire pour un court séjour. Seule petite ombre au tableau tout est un peu "usé" mais en terme d'hygiène ménage et linge étaient impeccables. Le personnel est agréable et à l'écoute, petit hôtel sympathique.
Chambre avec vue sur la mer, très jolie vue. La terrasse est très appréciable pour s'y poser. Le petit déjeuner était excellent, de la qualité et du choix.
Le + également est la climatisation (qui était indispensable en ce temps de canicule..) elle nous a sauvé nos nuits.
En ce qui concerne la chambre, le ménage reste douteux. Beaucoup de poussières, chambre assez vieille également. Sur les trois jours, le ménage n'a pas été fait sauf bien évidemment le jour d'arrivée, mise à part changer de serviette, rien d'autre.
L'insonorisation est pas top également..
Bon hôtel pour un week end mais pas +
