This retaise-fronted guesthouse is located in the center of Les Portes-en-Ré. There's no parking, but the proximity to the market square - which you can reach via a pretty alleyway - is very welcome. The setting is delightful, with a magnificent green wall in the reception area and a cosy atmosphere conducive to relaxation. The rooms are decorated with care and thoughtfulness. The "IT-Room" features a whirlpool bath to the sound of Zen music.

J'ai passé un excellent séjour à l'hôte des portes, le petit-déjeuner sur la terrasse était très agréable. Literie de qualité, accueil charmant, emplacement très gai au centre du village. Je reviendrai !

Pour ceux qui recherchent une autre adresse, je vous conseille aussi L’hôte des portes. Sur La place Victor Bron, cette maison propose cinq chambres d’hôte mais dispose aussi d’une terrasse avec quelques tables. Le service y est plus qu’adorable, je n’ai jamais vu de personnes aussi gentilles et heureuses d’avoir ouvert une nouvelle affaire.

Lieu charmant, accueil chaleureux et très sympathique, la nouvelle terrasse est très agréable. Bravo! N’hésitez pas à vous arrêter, je recommande +++

Super bad service, extremely high prices for a coffee/ orangina. And then no toilets, not even for a 2 year old.
