Restaurant ideal for lunch in all conviviality in Ile-d'Aix.

Don't look here for a classic restaurant where you choose your dish and wait peacefully for someone to come and serve you. This oyster shack, ideally located at the exit of the village and only a few meters from the main road, offers a surprising concept. When you arrive at Franck's, you will first be seduced by an authentic place, ideal for a convivial lunch around a plate of oysters. Raised in the oyster beds, they are of a rare freshness and are tasted in the Charentaise style with bread, butter and lemon.

Closed from October to March. Oysters for sale all year round to take away. High season: open every day at lunchtime. Plate of oysters including lemon butter bread : 10 € for 8 and 14 € for a dozen. Fried mussels 15 €. Terrace.

C'est un endroit un peu à part. Le cadre est attirant. Ce n'est pas l'endroit où nous avons été ni le mieux accueillis ni où nous avons le mieux mangé. Peut-être l'équipe était elle un peu fatiguée...

Produits de la mer excellents mais au même prix que les restaurants de l'île! Franck est-il ostréiculteur ?
Mayonnaise industrielle, un cure-dents est proposé pour déguster des boulots et fourchette traditionnelle pour les huîtres! Gobelet carton et cannette sauf pour le vin .

Une ambiance de cabane en bord de mer tres sympathique, des produits frais et excellent, des frites a tomber par terre cuite en cuissons comle ilse doit et une equipe et un patron abordables et tres sympa. On reviendra avec plaisir !!!
