Formerly in the small village of Lignières linen was made and supplied to the Corderie Royale de Rochefort. The municipality has decided to create a museum that retraces the history of linen through the centuries. It evokes the daily life of a weaver during the Second Empire. The establishment offers spinning courses at 40€ and weaving and lace courses at 80€, for two days.
