LAVAUD ORNITHOLOGICAL OBSERVATORY

From the left bank of the Lavaud lake, in the village of Foucherie in the commune of Lésignac-Durand, follow the signs leading to the wooden observatory equipped with observation windows. Whistling ducks, teal, waders... find here food for nesting or for a migratory stopover. In the morning, when the sea spray rises, take your binoculars. The outings accompanied by a guide take place in winter, a good time to observe them during the wintering period.
