A tasting at Martell is a delicious journey back in time. The oldest of the great cognac houses was born in 1715, at the end of the reign of Louis XIV. Originally from the island of Jersey, Jean Martell set out to discover the world and set his sights on Cognac, where he created his company. The founder-merchant's residence is still there, in the centre of the estate with 430 hectares of vineyards located in the vintages of fine woods, small and large champagne and borderies: Martell's favourite vintage. Always focused on exports (China, Singapore, Taiwan, Russia, Europe, United States), Martell has been combining creativity and a tradition of excellence since 1715. The visits allow you to discover the house and a varied range of products, including its Cordon Bleu cognac, created in 1912: a dark golden copper colour, aromas of candied fruit and gingerbread, round and mellow with notes of plum, candied orange and cinnamon. Martell XO cognac, round and fruity (notes of figs and nuts), offers a powerful and very fine character through its aromas. An original packaging protects it in the form of a case or case. Martell Création cognac, a reinterpretation of the Extra, reveals the rich history of cognac, combining freshness with aromas of fruit, lemon jam and orange zest, mixed with more classic woody and spicy notes...
