Le Globe is a Cognac institution. In this brasserie, the menu varies with the seasons, with an emphasis on local, fresh produce, as well as specialties such as seasonal broken eggs: homemade tomato coulis (granny's recipe), runny egg, slices of cured ham, French toast with basil, mozzarella di bufala, pancetta and parmesan shavings. But there's also the unmissable "coffre" of 2 duck breasts cooked together on the bone, prepared in a minute for 2 people and accompanied by a potato and porcini mushroom crumble, or the "entrecôte fleur de sel" or "crème de cognac".
