TALLEYRAND-PERIGORD CASTLE
Seigniory since the 11th century, the site became a castle in the 16th century. The house, which was once owned by the Talleyrand family, whose name he took, was acquired in 2011 by comedian and former antique dealer Yves Lecoq, who became the owner of what was then a poorly maintained hospice. After a high quality restoration, this austere building regains its splendour. Its history enchants the visitor, in particular thanks to the furniture exclusively XVIIth chiné by the owner. Guided tours led by an association of enthusiasts will share many anecdotes with you. Please note that the entrance is via the drawbridge which is always in operation. The price of the entrance ticket is entirely dedicated to the restoration of the castle, an additional reason to come and visit it and even come back to follow the evolution of the installations.
