Chef Fabrice Morel's cooking in a gastronomic restaurant in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne.

This gastronomic restaurant will amaze you with the quality of its cuisine and products. Fabrice Morel, the chef, serves a succulent medallion of beef tenderloin, wellington of veal breast with foie gras, glazed top carrots and vanilla flavoured pumpkin flank, Perigourdine sauce or a combination of semi-cooked and pan-fried foie gras in a terrine, crunchy gingerbread with candied fruit and its dried duck breast lichettes . A real treat! For dessert the hot passion fruit soufflé, macaroon stuffed with orange ganache is not bad at all. Eleven comfortable rooms allow you to concoct a very pleasant stay. Rooms to which we must add since 2011 a whole complex for your well-being: sauna, hammam, gym and also pedicure, manicure and modelling treatments! Mmmmmm. Just relax...

Bonne adresse de restaurant
Nous étions entre amis cette fois-ci et en famille la fois précédente; sans moi et en famille en juillet 2019 et j'y retourne en août 2019 profitant de mes vacances loin de Paris : tout ça pour dire que nous sommes des habitués et que cet avis n'est pas fantaisiste...Le service est agréable, les portions généreuses pour un menu à moins de 30€ et la cuisine gastronomique. Les tables près de la piscine ne sont pas trop proches, ni celles en salle du reste. Les vins sont très honnêtes et le patron autorise même le droit de bouchon le cas échéant ! Bref, n'hésitez pas à vous arrêter pour un bon repas et même si la carte comporte quelques fautes d'orthographe, c'est seulement parce que l'épouse du chef français est anglaise, vous serez reçus avec l'élégance britannique et un petit accent charmant...
