Le Brûleau Charentais is open only in the evenings, and it's best to make a reservation as the place is well known to connoisseurs. The cuisine here is simple and tasty, and the speciality is grilled beef. What makes this place so special is that everything is cooked over a wood fire in front of the customers! Also on the menu are lamb, salmon and, last but not least, melted camembert and homemade desserts.
