Thanks to this immersive and interactive museum, discover the diversity and beauty of the flora and fauna that inhabit the bay.

A museum that deciphers the secrets of the fauna and flora of the region. Here, more than 250 birds can be seen, in their natural environment, with observation posts provided for this purpose. The flora of the bay will also be presented to you, as will the seals! Also, put on your best hiking shoes to explore the bay, with guides explaining the phenomenon of the tides and leading you to the best spots for animal encounters.

The Maison du Grand Site Baie de Somme is a museographic space adapted for young and old.

From your first steps you will be immersed in the Baie de Somme: panoramic views, models, films... will help you discover the geomorphological phenomena that have shaped the coastline. The dioramas will allow you to familiarize yourself with the different natural environments that make up the landscape: cliffs, wetlands, mudflats, dunes...and to learn about the characteristics of each species of fauna and flora before an outing in the Bay.
The Maison de la Baie has a unique collection of naturalized birds and chaff: true works of art, these wooden sculptures represent ducks or waders, used by hunters to attract waterfowl.
Also, you will find on the spot the answers to your questions about the colony of calf seals in the Bay of the Somme.

Très instructif, on y apprend beaucoup sur les animaux peuplant la baie de Somme ainsi que sur les oiseaux en général (je suis loin d'être un spécialiste). Très ludique et agréable tant pour les adultes que pour les enfants.

La maison de la baie de somme est conçue pour les petits et les grands, on peut y découvrir la faune et la flore de la région, un bon aperçu pour débuter une première visite en baie de somme, (comme ça a été mon cas).
