This belfry, classified since 2007 as a Unesco World Heritage Site, is one of the oldest in France.
Built in 1209, the belfry is one of the oldest in France. It is a 33-meter-high rectangular tower, used as a watchtower until the construction of the collegiate church of Saint-Vulfran. Like the other towers in the region, it has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2007. Whenever possible, the ascent is via a 119-step staircase. Please note that the Boucher de Perthes Museum is currently undergoing renovation work, making the ascent impossible!
