Pleasant campsite equipped with pitches, trailers, bungalows, hikers' cabins and playgrounds.
This campsite has a pleasant and original environment, as it is located in an old open-air stone quarry. This feature offers sites with some isolation. Since vegetation has regained its rights over the past eight decades, the areas are generally sufficiently shaded. The situation is interesting since the site is isolated and exotic, while remaining about ten minutes' walk from the superb abbey church and the city centre. On the equipment side, we appreciate the two playgrounds, the sports fields and the long slide. A small snack grocery store is available to help you out. The paddling pool and the swimming pool are not large, but it is always a pleasant asset (they open from mid-May). As for accommodation, you will find caravans, bungalows and "hiking cabins" for rent.
