During your visit, you can have lunch in the prestigious kitchens of Vatel, the famous steward of the Grand Condé! In 1671, he organized three days and three nights of festivities in honor of King Louis XIV. Disgraced that the morning tide was delivered late, he took his own life on the second day. You are welcomed in a large room in the old moat with the stove and fireplace, and in the rotunda where the former pantry of the famous Vatel was located. Les repas sont généralement copieux et le menu à 26 euros dans le château pittoresque n'est pas cher, mais n'en attendez pas trop. Le dessert feuilleté recommandé par ma sœur est délicieux.

Nous avons souhaité boire un verre a 17h20 étant donné la chaleur avec une salle a moitié rempli. Reçu de façon très hautaine "On ferme a 17h15 vu que le château ferme a 18h00". Nous avons signalé que nous souhaitions boire un verre rapidement. Dommage...

Cadre magnifique, personnel aimable, menu imposé de groupe : pâté en croûte salade assaisonnée bien, gigot d’agneau riz salade non assaisonnée BOF : l’agneau 1/3 impossible à mastiquer ! Pas eu le meilleur. Et puis le riz est surprenant avec l’agneau.Tarte Tatin crème Chantilly : très bon mais crème c’était fromage blanc de Chantilly sans doute mais pas en chantilly.
Décevant pour l’ensemble, on s’attend à mieux pour le lieu et pour les tarifs.

Fais type auberges de jeunes très très basiques dommage en allant manger au sein du célèbre et magnifique château de Chantilly on s'attend à une décoration raffinée des nappes en tissu bien repassées
On est bien loin et c'est vraiment dommage
Si non le service est excellent avec sourire et je suis régalée
