Built in 1878 on the plans of Séré de Rivières, the Fort of Malmaison was fiercely contested throughout the conflict due to its strategic position. A German cemetery in 1939-1945 is close to the fort.

La folie de la guerre a réuni au même endroit pour l'éternité les soldats allemands et les soldats français, enterrés à quelques centaines de mètres de là. A visiter au détour d'une excursion sur le Chemin des Dames.
