A cellar that will awaken all your senses! At La Fontaine des Sens, you will find a wide range of wines from the four corners of France and elsewhere, unusual wines, champagnes from small producers and great estates, but also spirits: rum, whiskey and armagnac for those who love strong alcohols. Wine also means cheese! On the grocery side, the house also offers a selection of mature cheeses, spices, oils and local products, all ingredients to enhance and perfect your tasting.

Place splendid and in charge of history, these cellars date from the 12th century and were dug to extract the stone necessary to the construction from the medieval fortress of Château-Thierry. The cellars Basket are born in these places at the beginning of the 20th century, when Louis-Eugène Pannier, who had founded his house with Dizy close to Epernay, finds here the perfect place to cope with the development of his company and for the development of champagne. Today this house belongs to a union of producers. Opened on the whole of Champagne, it profits from supplies of quality on the valley of the Marne, the mountain of Reims and the coast of the White, which represents a vineyard of 600 ha. Modernity and tradition cohabit here. The moment of tasting is lived with the gleam of the candles, a particular atmosphere for better discovering the champagnes Basket:

Since 1968, this family of RM has never ceased to bring out the character of its terroir. Half of the 7.5 ha vineyard is planted with Meunier. A fervent follower of agro-ecology, the House pampers its vines with great care. 4 expressive and round champagnes are to be discovered: Brut 204, Brut Zéro (a blend with no dosage), Rosé Royal and Millésime 2014 (in tribute to an indomitable year). There is plenty to enjoy in their cellars and you would be wrong to deprive yourself of it to celebrate all the little pleasures of life!
