Meet wild animals on a 10-hectare wooded estate for an immersive adventure in the Mervent Forest Zoo

A 10-hectare wooded estate is home to 300 animals of some 50 different species. During the walk, discover the large carnivores (tigers, lions...), the forest of free-ranging lemurs, wallabies, European otters... Bears and wolves share the same enclosure. Enter the pink flamingo aviary. Observe the playful primates. Don't miss an afternoon feeding session. Children's paradise: the large playground, the mini-farm with alpacas and goats, the picnic area in front of the giraffe, antelope and ostrich enclosure.

Parc animalier bucolique et agréable, un peu vallonné. Visite tranquille en 2 heures. Les animaux disposent de grands enclos végétalisés. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les zones où les anomaux dont en semi-liberté (génial de voir les lemuriens et les varis venir vers soi, et s'adonner à leurs numéros d'équilibriste sur les arbres. On prend bien soin de les observer sans les toucher).

Très belle ballade parmi les animaux, mais certains endroits comme le bassin des tortues sont mal entretenus , pareil pour certains enclos qui semblent petits . Certains animaux semblent litteralement tourner en tond . Cela reste cher pour un "mini beauval" sans effort de décorations. Malgré tout on peut souvent faire des pauses et prendre un en-cas.
