The first store opened in La Rochelle, and several chains have since grown, mainly on the Atlantic coast. Both cellar and bar, the Cervoiserie is a temple of draft and bottled beer, but not just any beer. They are all selected by master cherry growers, experts from the making to the tasting of the beer. They are able to tell you why one beer is blonde while another is amber or brown, why some beers are more bitter than others, what is the difference between a craft beer and an abbey beer. Even stronger: you give a few indications about the beer you would like to drink and the master cervice maker will provide you with the beer of your expectations. At the Cervoiserie, you enter to buy a beer, to taste, as a counter is specifically dedicated, to spend a convivial moment around beers and boards of charcuterie, to take part in the Friday and Saturday evening aperitifs or special evenings.
