The port of Morin has always been a place where sailors used to anchor their small boats. But it was a poorly protected anchorage. In 1983, the project of a port reinforced by dikes became a reality. It was completed in 2000. Today, the port of Morin is essentially a marina, even if some professional fishermen do coastal fishing.
