HENRI KAES VIGNERON
Domaine Henri Kaes in Molsheim: organic wines, cellar in a 1533 house, and Mollesheim Leimen, a powerful, racy Alsace red
For Henri Kaes, vine-growing is a story of blood, soil... and flair. Since 2008, this instinctive winegrower has been cultivating 7.5 hectares in Molsheim organically, incorporating biodynamic best practices from the outset. Heir to six generations and guardian of a half-timbered house dating back to 1533, Henri welcomes you to his cellar as if you were at home. His wine? Authentic, precise, sometimes surprising. A special mention for Molsheim Leimen, an imposing Alsatian Pinot Noir: fleshy, full-bodied, racy. It's a red that's got style... and panache.
