First menhir classified by the Monuments Historiques in 1934. Dating from the Neolithic period, it testifies to the human occupation of the coastline since prehistoric times. It consists of a pyramid-shaped block of white quartz 2.30 m high, with a wide base of about 2.25 m and weighs over 8 tons. It is also called "the devil's stone". Indeed, many legends surround it. According to one of them, a fat boy of 15 years old and his cow, having given themselves to the devil, would have been crushed under this enormous block, thrown by the arm of Satan.
