The Salines du Breuil in Beauvoir-sur-Mer are a must-see tourist attraction for salt lovers. Situated in an exceptional "NATURA 2000" site, recognized as a wetland of international importance, these saltworks offer a unique experience. The owners, Ana and Julien, have opted for sustainable farming and use 90% renewable energy. Their salt carries the "NATURE ET PROGRES" label. Visitors can discover the flora and fauna of the salt marsh on guided tours in French, English or Spanish. It is also possible to buy coarse salt, fleur de sel, flavored salt and halophilic plants directly from the salorge. For other times of year, please contact the owners.
