This festival, a kermesse, is named by the appearance of the oyster gobblers event, created in 1963, where the competitors must, in oyster farmer's clothes, taste as many oysters as possible in a given time. This festival is completed by other attractions including a big tombola where thefirst prize is a cow named Gratte-Huître. And of course in the evening, a big oyster tasting stand and a country dinner.
