Relais du Silence hotel offering quiet rooms and a Vendée-style building with apartments next door

In a wooded park, a beautiful late 18th century mansion is the setting for this small hotel with 23 rooms, labelled Relais du Silence, proof of the charm of the place. You will appreciate the calm of the rooms, especially those near the swimming pool. Next to the hotel, in a Vendeen-style building with green shutters, there are apartments for families of 4/5 people. Each one offers a living room with satellite TV, telephone and sanitary facilities, of great comfort. Breakfast is served in a room with rustic charm or on the veranda overlooking the garden and swimming pool.

L'endroit est très calme et la piscine très agréable. Le parking et le local à vélos sont aussi un vrai plus. Mais la chambre familiale qui nous a été attribué mérite vraiment une rénovation... c'est très "vieillot", la salle de bains est très petite et très peu moderne, la literie n'est pas confortable, la décoration inexistante. Il y a des traces de moisi sur les murs des WC, le carrelage est fêlé à plusieurs endroits et on entend vraiment beaucoup ce qui se passe dans la chambre d'à côté. Et c'est vraiment dommage parce que vu le cadre je pense qu'il y a un vrai potentiel.

Pour nos premières vacances,nous avons adoré cet endroit! Cadre très beau dans un petit village où les gens sont sympathiques. Personnel adorable, petit plus la piscine :) merci encore

Le cadre est sympathique, le personnel à l'écoute mais il manque quelque chose pour se sentir dans un 3 étoiles : thé Lipton de base au petit-déjeuner (un thé Mariage en 3 étoiles est courant), sèche-serviette rouillé, on avait réservé une chambre supérieure et on nous a attribué une chambre PMR basique, dommage...
