If you're staying on the island of Noirmoutier and would like to discover the other Vendée island, La Compagnie Vendéenne offers a3rd port of departure to the island of Yeu: La Fosse-île de Noirmoutier. Used in the past, this port is now accessible again since the reconstruction of the Estacade. Located opposite Fromentine, on the Noirmoutier island side, it offers the advantage of free parking just a stone's throw from the landing stage. Departures are offered with a 15-minute stopover in Fromentine, so allow 60 minutes for the trip to Yeu Island!
