In Sougé, there was a Roman camp which communicated with Vindunum, the name given by the Romans to the town of Le Mans, from the Braye bridge to Saint-Mars-de-Locquenay at the Grand-Ivert farm. While walking you will find beautiful vestiges of the old way.
