ARBORETUM DU TUFFEAU

Between Saint-Calais and Bessé-sur-Braye, in the Tuffeau, this arboretum shelters 300 species of trees and shrubs from all continents. It is the occasion for a pleasant walk with the family, full of flowers, scents and contrasting atmospheres. The arboretum's program includes guided botanical walks, recognition games for children, exhibitions and various themes depending on the season. You should also know that the site has tufa stone cellars which bear witness to the history of the farm and which housed the old cowshed, the sheepfold and the chicken coop.
