NOTRE DAME CHURCH

Another small city of character, apparteannt in the Country of Art and History Coëvrons-Mayenne, Saulges has another religious building, a Romanesque church founded in the th century. It is characterized by its parochial tower. Inside, in the choir, the lighting beautifully highlights the altarpiece of the Master Altar (th century) and a rare statuary called «Ter Sanctus» (th century Trinity). Do not miss the Valtrot Altarpiece (th), one of the oldest altarpieces of Mayenne.
