Très beau bâtiment au bord de la Mayenne qui domine majestueusement la ville de Mayenne! L'intérieur du château a été très bien rénové et la scénographie très bien faite! On s'y croirait presque au Moyen-Age! De plus, depuis les remparts on a une superbe vue sur la ville!

Animations au château
Régulièrement des animations sont proposées pour un public familial. A la belle saison, le jardin d'inspiration médiéval et le parc attenant au château sont des endroits sympathiques pour un pique-nique par exemple (et en accès libre).

Un très beau musée-château. L'équipe d'accueil est vraiment compétente. La visite montre des petits bijoux insoupçonnés comme les pièces d'échecs datées des 10-12ème siècle. Un conseil, faite la visite guidée, vous aurez encore plus d'informations et des anecdotes sur le site millénaire.

Très beau et très ancien château magnifiquement restauré et mis en valeur. Des expositions intéressantes s'y tiennent également. a ne pas manquer quand on passe dans la région
