In 1851, Étienne Bouvet and Célestine Ladubay founded the company that bears their names. Today, it produces elegant vintage cuvées; a unique expertise in the art of blending and vinifying Chenin and Chardonnay grapes. Visitors can discover the different stages in the winemaking process, admire over 1,000 oak barrels and contemplate the "Engloutie Cathedral", an ensemble of 35 monumental sculptures. The heritage tour also takes in the archives, the label collection, Étienne Bouvet's office and the Petit Théâtre.

In the heart of the Loire Valley, part of the UNESCO world heritage, in Saumur, Bouvet-Ladubay, Brut de Loire welcomes you in their kilometers of underground galleries excavated in the "Tuffeau" calciary stone.
Discover the winemaking process to produce the sparkling wines : the “Méthode Traditionnelle”, submerge yourself in the story of the company created in 1851, explore “ La Cathédrale Engloutie” and taste our Sparkling Wines.
To this day, more than 500 medals and awards confirm the quality of our wines.
Since its acquisition of the brand in 1932 by Justin Marcel Monmousseau, the same family has given a naturally artistic dimension to the company for all wine lovers : Discover our Contemporary Art Center and the different exhibitions all year round (refer to the program)

la dégustation nous a permis de voir a qualité des produits... je suis reparti avec 3 caisse une de pétillant rosé (je ne savais as que ça existe) une d'instinct et et trésor je peux vous dire que ça vaut certains champagne et que le lendemain vous avez un kangourou qui fait de la batterie dans la tête
Ich hatte vorab eine Führung auf Englisch mit dem Rad gebucht, da momentan keine auf deutsch angeboten wurde. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen von Margaux und hatten das Glück eine ganz private Tour zu zweit zu bekommen. Wie beeindruckend dieser alte Keller und die Mengen an Flaschen , die hier lagern. Anschließend haben wir einige Cremants probiert und auch gleich 2 Kartons zum Wohnmobil getragen. Die Tour lohnt sich in jedem Fall !????
