Founded 140 years ago, Maison Langlois-Chateau is renowned for its excellence in making Crémants de Loire. Combining simplicity and exacting standards, the house offers singular cuvées, the fruit of rigorous, bold know-how. Visitors can discover the estate through a variety of experiences, including tours of the cellars dug into the tuffeau stone, vineyard walks and wine tastings. Closed December 25 and January 1. Open Sundays (closed January-February). Cellar tour: €5; Wine secrets: €10; Vineyard in horse-drawn carriage: €28 (€15 for children). American Express accepted. Store, tasting and cellar accessible for wheelchairs.

It was 5 euros for the tour and tasting which was great value (you could pay a little more to do the wine school too). The wines were brilliant so we ended up buying a mixed case but there was absolutely no pressure to do so. Would definitely recommend a visit.
