Amélie Neau continues the name and production of this magnificent family estate. The wines produced perfectly represent the typicality of the saumur and champigny appellations: supple and richly aromatic, they are the result of rigorous work in organic farming conversion. Regular in its balance and delicate tannins, Le Clos des Châtains is unanimously acclaimed every year. The 3-colour Les Loups cuvées are the quintessence of the estate and Amélie still has vast projects.

Housed in beautiful cellars dug into the tuffeau rock in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, Domaine Fouet covers 23 hectares in the Saumur-Champigny and Saumur Blanc appellations. In addition to champignys, such as the black-fruit-flavored Cuvée Ébène, the estate also produces white Saumur Brines and Saumur Cabernets. All vines are organically grown and Ecocert-certified. Natural, sulfite-free cuvées complete the range. Eco-pasturing by sheep and vitiforestry with apple trees planted between the rows reflect the estate's commitment to sustainable viticulture that respects biodiversity.
