Museum retracing the history of the weapon which made Angers the capital of military engineering, various military objects exposed.

A museum worthy of its heritage! Located at the heart of the École du Génie, this museum retraces the history of the engineering arm that made Angers a military capital with its 6th regiment. The chronological gallery plunges visitors into two millennia of innovations, from Gallo-Roman engineers to today's sappers. Further on, a thematic area reveals the three missions of the Engineers: combat, construction and rescue. A captivating immersion, punctuated by rare exhibits, including an impressive painting of the crossing of the Rhine in 1945.
