Welcome to the Black Peat! Of course, this isn't Edinburgh, Dublin or London, but you'll appreciate the wood-panelled decor and the honest selection of draught beers and whiskies. For the hungry, the burgers here enjoy an excellent reputation, but you can also indulge in fish and chips, cheesecake... The venue broadcasts soccer and rugby matches, but also hosts concerts several times a week, blind-tests (on Wednesdays) and even Comedy Club evenings, two Mondays a month!

Honestly this place is killer! If you like a rough-like old school bar where they play great alternative English rock music (sometimes even live music) have your pint of beer and enjoy excellent simple but complete food dishes, this is the place to go. Very friendly service and a great decor. 100% recommended and the price is right ???? 5 star all the way!

Un petit écart entre ce qui est à la carte et ce qui arrive dans l'assiette, en l'occurrence frites à la place des pommes de terre grenaille. À part ça le service est sympa tout comme le lieu.

Sous les (bons) conseils d’une connaissance, nous sommes allé nous sustenter au Black Peat, mais nous étions pas préparés à cela, l’ambiance du vieux Pub Irlandais et bien présente, avec un accueil et une gentillesse à toutes épreuves, une nourriture largement à la hauteur, encore une fois un superbe cadre et le magnifique sourie de la petite Lia (je crois).
Prix très raisonnable et choix très larges de la carte.
Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce moment suspendu dans le temps. La chance que nous y retournions lors de notre futur passage à Angers et plus que certains.
