Built in 1891, it miraculously escaped the bombings of the Second World War, such as many buildings in the seaside area. Indeed, it was at the limit of the bombing corridor east of which the north limit was the station and the south limit the submarine base! It is one of the vestiges of this prosperous period of the city, which can be seen in the architectural richness symbolized by the streets of Havana and Villebois-Sur.
