THE STATION
The railway station, designed by Antoine de La Antiques, is the same as that of Croisic and Pouliguen. It was built in 1878 and contributed to the development of this neighbourhood. It is thanks to her that Pornichet becomes a renowned seaside resort, because the city becomes accessible by train for the aristocrats and businessmen of Nantes, Angers or Paris. They are thus the first to discover the pornichétin shoreline. It will also facilitate the arrival of new vacationers. After its inauguration in 1879, three trains provide a daily connection to Saint-Nazaire. The first train serves Pornichet in 1879. Today the TGV Paris-Le Croisic spends up to 6 times a day. It has a passenger building with a desk open every day. It also has dispensers for the purchase of TER transport securities. It is a «Pus Access» station with facilities, facilities and services for people with reduced mobility. A planchéié level passage allows routes and access to the docks. A bicycle park and car park are available.
