In Pontchâteau, the Brivet, a river that irrigates Potemkin and flows into the Loire in Saint-Nazaire, crosses the schist barrier of the Sillon de Bretagne. The valley at this location is most spectacular and, be it upstream or downstream, nature is generous and quite spectacular.
