It is managed by the local heritage conservation association which aims to preserve the memory of the city through collecting writings, objects, iconography, etc., which may be of historical or ethnological interest. It is the sardine fishery and the activity it has carried out for a century-and-half that is right on the heart of the permanent exhibition. Sailing objects, costumes, caps… but you will also find testimony from the time when Piriac was the Protestant capital of Guérandaise peninsula.
