LA GODAILLE
The godaille is the part of the fishing left by the fishing boss to his sailors. It is also the name of Gérald and Sullivan's (Sulli) workshop for creating wooden objects. Passionate about the sea and the maritime world, these two friends and Paimblotin craftsmen mainly work with driftwood and wreckage wood recovered from the banks of the Loire or from the surrounding coast. Patience, high standards and of course a lot of passion and creativity are the key words of these two designers who let their imagination (or yours) run wild to give birth to various objects whose elegance goes hand in hand with a reduced environmental impact. Candlesticks, cat or jewelry trees, pencil pots but also islands of pirates, birds, stools, tables and other shelves, come and see them, and take a look at the Facebook page to get an overview of their world. They will be happy to explain their work to you. And you can even make suggestions if you have a specific wish, La Godaille makes to order and custom-made, depending on the wood available.
