Les Bureaux du Coeur is an association whose aim is to provide housing for people in precarious situations, known as guests. Guests are accommodated in the offices of its corporate members, known as hosts, in the evenings and at weekends. As their offices are heated and equipped (kitchen, WC, washbasins, often shower), the Centre des Jeunes Dirigeants Nantes has decided to welcome people in precarious situations to their premises when they are no longer in use. This implies precise rules: a set of specifications is drawn up for the selection by the associations of the people hosted by the companies. Each company hosts a single person, called "guest" as there is no charge, for a defined period of time. The company provides the guest with a bed, a wardrobe, the employees' kitchen area and bathroom facilities. Les Bureaux du Coeur thus gives people access to individual accommodation, brings them closer to the corporate world, enables them to socialize, benefit from the solidarity of employees and sometimes from the contacts of managers.
