MAISON FROMETON
This new fromagerie-crèmerie, opening in autumn 2019, is nestled in a tiny boutique in the shape of an illuminated corridor. Here, Amélie shares her passion for cheeses, preferably made from raw, farmhouse milk, which she carefully selects directly from small producers all over France (Savoie, Auvergne, Pyrenees, Normandy, Val du Doubs...). A former journalist, she got the cheese bug from her great-uncle, who was a cheesemaker, and the catalyst for her conversion was interviewing shepherds returning from summer pastures in the Béarn region. The result is delicious, to say the least! You'll find plenty of ideas on how to treat your guests to an aperitif, end a meal or even a raclette evening... We can even prepare pre-cut cheese platters for you! Among the sixty or so cheeses on offer, let yourself be tempted by a Saint-Marcellin or a Saint-Félicien, crunchy Brie or even Gorgonzola by the spoonful! And if you're sweet and savory, try our cherry/chocolate/Espelette chili paste, which goes very well with hard cheeses like Etivaz. Discover also the fine grocery products and the selection of wines to accompany your meals.
