A reference to Nantes. Welcome to this beautiful cheese factory in the city centre, renowned for excelling in the difficult art of ripening. The owner, Mrs. Lecoq (all smiles) and her husband work with small local and national producers whom they promote with expertise. In a warm setting of wood and slate, the ripened cheeses are beautifully presented to you. Goat's milk cheeses are the strong point, due to the proximity of Touraine and Deux-Sèvres. Beautiful epoisses, little fiancé from the Pyrenees, vintage counties prepared by a cellar master, fancy goats with cranberries, grapes, chives or shallots. You can also find the rare blue of Laqueuille, fresh products and the excellent butter of Monsieur Bordier. Not to be missed either, the brie with peppers, a little marvel. It's hard not to find what you're looking for among the more than 200 cheese references presented in this tempting boutique.
