The famous pachyderm lives on the Ile de Nantes, under the naves of the Galerie des Machines. This elephant made of wood, leather and metal is 12 m high and weighs 48 tons. It moves around the shipyard district, spraying passers-by with water. You climb on its back from its steel cathedral to the Carroussel des Mondes Marins where it drops you off for a ride. An unusual walk of about 30 minutes to discover the old site of the shipyards and the quays of the Loire.

Rafraîchissant quand il arrose le public avec sa trompe
Il se déplace très lentement, mais c'est une attraction originale et surtout c'est une prouesse de faire déplacer cet énorme Elephant
