This small island lost in the city is a popular spot for lunch breaks and in the evening when the sun sets. Stroll around the heart of the island and discover the Erdre fish aquariums. Numerous nautical activities, including boat hire without a licence and canoeing, are available at the pretty marina.

The island of Versailles is an ideal place to spend an afternoon calm and relaxing.
To surround by Erdre this green island is accessible by several small bridges. It is possible to walk there, there for a drink or rent a boat.
I also recommend this place to eat lunch and do one to have break exotic.

The island of Versailles is a very pleasant place in Nantes. Right next to the red Motte tram stop (line 2), it offers a haven of peace in the heart of the city p.r lovers of peace or those who love gardens with Japanese. To see at the end of summer, when meetings of the erdre where the island is lively!
