The museum is closed on January 1, May 1, November 1 and December 25. Low season: open Wednesday to Monday, 10am to 6pm. High season: daily from 10am to 7pm. Free admission for children under 18. Adults: €5. Reduced admission: €2. Guided tours: €8 full price €5 reduced price.

Fantastic collection of minerals and shells that fascinated our 8-year old grandson. A big collection of birds that I studied slowly. Several groups of children were working on what appeared to be really interesting projects. Well worth a visit (1.5-2hours). No café on location but very tempting bakeries, chocolate shops and other specialty stores nearby. Warning : don't believe the street signs to the museum, they point in exactly the opposite direction ????
