Sports events Nantes

In its race through France, the sports and Solidarity event Odyssea stops in Nantes in mid-March. The 2017 edition brought together 63 800 participants on the streets of the city of Dukes to run against breast cancer: the majority of the funds collected are indeed transferred to the Western Cancérologie Institute of Western René, as well as to the Loire-Atlantic Committee of the National League against Cancer. For the passion of the race on foot or for an act committed, put the trainers together and start to attack these 5 little kilometers!

Tariff: 10 € before the race, 12 € then.

Distance: 5 km, and 1 km child course.

Difficulty: easy to average.

Rendez-vous: course Saint-André in Nantes. Departures from 14 am to 16 pm.

Other practical information: any non-licensee shall have a medical certificate indicating the absence of a contraindication to the practice of the race on foot.

In April, the Nantes Marathon des Ormeaux invites you to challenge yourself over 42.195 km through the city's architectural gems. Iconic landmarks such as Place Graslin, the château, the cathedral and Place Royale line the route. You'll follow the banks of the Erdre and Loire rivers. The route crosses the Parc de Procé, the Jardin des Plantes and the Machines de l'Île site. Three other events are also on offer: the Foulées de l'éléphant by Decathlon, the half-marathon, and the Marathon Relais, reserved for companies.
