TAPAGE PROTO CAVE
Watch out for this unique concept! Tapage is an original place in raw concrete and touches of pink, somewhere between a bar and a proto-cellar (as in prototype), whose clever idea is based on the principle of bulk and local produce. White beer with ginger, Muscadet AOC, Nantes spritz, apple-kiwi kefir... Here, you take a glass without a bottle, but you can leave with a returnable bottle (half-liter or liter) or a single can. Wines, beers, ciders, cocktails, fermented softs, non-alcoholic drinks: the choice is vast and ideal for an after-work drink. Served on draught, the 34 elixirs on the menu are all locally sourced (and almost all organic), the farthest producer being 130 km from Nantes. Near the counter, you'll quickly spot the stainless steel barrels housing the beverages, guaranteeing low environmental impact. Valentin Fétiveau, Tapage's founder from the Vendée region, wanted to create a sustainable place where people could share, with prices that are quite affordable given the quality. A one-liter bottle of wine costs between 13 and 22 euros to take away; a liter of beer costs between 7.40 and 9 euros. For lunch and dinner, there's a snack bar featuring local produce. Private room with giant screen for parties, karaoke, conferences, meetings...
