The towers of this castle were raised in the th and th centuries. The other buildings were built between the th and th centuries and are on three sides of a courtyard where you enter a porch. A remarkable Chapel in Flamboyant Gothic Style, it is distinguished by an excellent acoustics obtained by inserting pottery into the long walls. The chapel served as a place of worship for the parish of the Lucs after the fire and massacres of 1794. Indeed, it was the Retail that began the insurrection in Legé in 1793.
